The management and transmission of data has become more and
more challenging especially in projects requiring the
analyses of a large number of detergent samples across a number of different
geographic regions.
In order to support the management of the chemical analyses
results and the communication of information, a software has been developed in a
collaboration between Battelle and Odysis.
The software offers the possibility of
transmitting detergent analysis data electronically, storing them into a
database and printing reports.
A Queries Module allows analysis of these results
and evaluation of statistical information on the evolution of the use of
selected ingredients.
A Website allows Battelle customers to query the detergent
database through a powerful yet intuitive interface, print reports and export
data to Microsoft Excel.
The software has been successfully used since year 2000 in
the framework of the Battelle World Detergent Program (BWDP), a multiclient
project which provides its members with global and comprehensive analyses of
detergent formulations throughout the world.
